Calibration reports¶
Choose Calibration → Export Calibration Report to save an HTML report of your calibration and its available results. Use it for review, record keeping, or sharing with colleagues and customers.
Before exporting¶
- Run optimization after your final changes to the dataset or exclusions.
- Review the results using Analysis.
- If you need Test RPE or uncertainty estimates, enable them in Optimization and calculate them before exporting.
The report uses the saved results of the latest calibration; exporting does not rerun optimization or validation.
What the report includes¶
Both editions include:
- Software version and report-generation date.
- Camera information and calibration parameters.
- Parameter uncertainty where available.
- Initialization and convergence information.
- Reprojection-error plots, maps, and statistics.
- Test RPE and validation coverage where available.
Unavailable diagnostics are not evidence of a good or bad result. Check validation status before interpreting Test RPE. The report date is the date of export, not the date the images were captured.
Detailed statistical analysis¶
Pro feature
Detailed report statistics require Calib GEOM Pro. Parameters, residual diagnostics, validation, and uncertainty remain available in Web reports.
Pro reports additionally include the available detailed statistical tests and per-target and per-pose summaries. Per-feature statistics are kept in the separate statistics text export, not the HTML report.
Offline Review assessments are separate and are not included. In Pro, use Copy Review in the Review tab if you want to keep one.
Saving, sharing, and printing¶
The report is self-contained and can be opened in a browser without an internet connection. Keep the HTML file or use your browser's print function to create a PDF.
Retain the original input data and parameter export alongside the report. In Pro, also save the project so the calibration can be continued later.
A report documents the results; it is not a signed calibration certificate or an automatic pass/fail decision. Define acceptance criteria for your application and record your review conclusion.
