Web and Pro comparison¶
Calib GEOM has two editions with a shared calibration workflow and one user guide. Sections marked Pro feature describe capabilities available only in Calib GEOM Pro. Unmarked workflows are available in both editions unless they describe a specific platform's file access or installation.
- Calib GEOM Web runs at geom.calib.io. It is free and requires no account or license.
- Calib GEOM Pro is the licensed desktop application. Each user needs a purchased seat assigned to their own account.

Neither edition imposes a policy limit on camera or image counts. Dataset size is constrained by available memory and processing resources.
Sessions and file access¶
Web sessions are not saved. Closing or reloading the page loses the loaded data and calibration results. Export parameters, maps, or reports before leaving. Parameter imports do not restore a complete project.
Web uses browser-mediated file and folder access; you must grant permission to read your images. See Set Images.
Pro saves projects with input-file references, detections, settings, and available results so you can resume work. Keep the original input files alongside the project. See Saving your work.
The feature split is an edition choice, not a claim that WebAssembly cannot implement the advanced workflows. Browser permissions and resource limits are separate platform constraints.
Review and licensing¶
Offline Review runs on supported Pro installations with an installed model and works on air-gapped devices. Cloud Review for Web is planned separately and is not currently available. When available, it will share calibration data with Calib.io's servers, where the data will be treated as confidential.
Web does not sign in or contact the license service. Pro uses desktop licensing, including time-limited offline access; it does not require continuous connectivity.
